Blatant Session Ale offers a wide array of barley and hops that result in a smooth, balanced session-able ale that finishes dry, hoppy and clean. The subtle hop finish and juicy hop aroma from the Palisades hop additions, combined with the toasted malt, sweet caramel, and grainy cereal flavors makes Session Ale a legend in its own time. This is our “Legendary Session” – Tell us about yours.

Appearance – Transparent light gold, not much of a head but a lot of carbonation action going on with bubbles rising to the top and sticking to the walls of the glass.
Smell – Grains and earthiness, slight hop aroma.
Taste – Hops are more prevelant in the taste, still earthy and grainy. Aftertaste has a light citrus flavor, almost lemony.
This is a light, smooth, carbonated beer that drinks more like a soda than a beer. I actually wish I was eating a burger right now so I could wash it down with this pleasant beverage.

22oz. bottle served in a standard pint glass. Pours a bright, orange-gold hue with a slightly hazy clarity. There's quite a bit of activity present in the glass - clusters of tiny bubbles adhere to the walls of the glass and effervesce to the underside of a rocky, 2.5 inch bright, white head. Tiny flecks of lacing riddle the circumference of the glass as the head gradually recedes into a solid, quarter inch cap. Nose is very subdued - light grains, citrus, a faint earthiness and a trace of wet cardboard. Taste consistent with nose; however, quite watery and a little bit of biscuity malt is also present in the flavor profile. Mouthfeel is light and lively with just a slight residual prickle across the tongue. Overall, a decent, albeit watery, American Blonde; definitely sessionable but its blandness lacks appeal.

Thanks goes out to portia99 for this brew.
22oz. Bomber
Pours a nice cloudy dark yellow color, nice carbonation, with a nice one-finger fizzy white head, with some sticky lacing left behind. The nose is malty, slight hoppyness. The taste is malty, slight hop note, but kinda watery. Medium/Light body. Not a bad brew, but compared to a Squatters, Wasatch, or Zion Canyon brew at the same ABV, to me there is no comparison, the Utah brew's blows this away, more body, more flavor. It does go to show that Utah brewer's know what their doing with a low ABV.

Poured a 2" off-white head of medium life. The body is a clear golden straw yellow. It smells of grass and malt, and the taste is pretty much the same with maybe some corn. Medium bitter finish. to be honest with you this looks and drinks a little like a mainstream BMC just slightly more concentrated than the others. And there's not much really blonde ale about it to me.

Bomber poured into an imperial pint. Color was a pale straw with a gradient to a slightly darker haze near the head. Head was a thin dirty white creamy foam. Small streams of carbonation rose in several places. Aroma was an earthy malt. Small hint of a citrus orange hidden in the bottom. Flavor was a white bread mixed with a mild hops, that switched over to a spicy pepper finish that left a kick in the mouth. Felt a bit watery in the back, but not overly. Nice tingle in the mouth. Overall a good summer session beer. A bit pricy for lawnmower, but well suited to suit and chill on the porch for a bit.

A: Copper-yellow in color with a bubbly, fizzy, white head. No lace or retention.
S: Pale malt and fruity hops. Very pleasant.
T: Fantastic fruity flavors from the hops. Right amount of malt to balance it out. Nice dryness in the finish.
M: Surprisingly great body and delicious hop oils dance on your palate well after the last sip. Drinkability is obviously off the charts.
O: An incredible beer in general but an absurdly awesome session ale. Like the guy below me says, do not hesitate to pick this up because it's a "session" ale. It's divine.

Don't let the "session" label fool you. This beer is quite flavorful for a <4% ABV brew, certainly not a "light" beer.
When poured into a pint shaker glass, it presents cloudy light copper with a solid head retention and mostly a light fresh citrus aroma. It has a somewhat velvety mouthfeel and good carbonation, dedicedly not watery. The appropriate use of bittering hops ensures a nice lingering finish.
Highly enjoyable and recommended.
