shocked to see a poor rating here, i thought this thing was awesome, one of the better brut types in the denver market right now to be honest, and a really well refined beer, so much cleaner and more drinkable than a lot of these, and the hop profile is really modern and fresh, i totally dug this. it doesnt hold much of a head, but the pint is just off clear, muted yellow in shade, with a layer of fizziness at the top like a soda and a strong aroma of southern hemisphere hops, but i dont know what they use for sure. i smell the limey juiciness of maybe a galaxy, the softer, dry hoppy citra complexion, and maybe just a pinch of bitterness here too, my mouth waters. hops all the way in the flavor, less grain flavor and texture here than in many other bruts i have had, but i kind of like it being minimal, especially with this fruity hop profile, summery white wine, ripe green melon, kiwi, sweet citrus, and again just a little bit of bitterness there late. its refreshing and quenching at the same time that its mouthwatering and driving my thirst with each sip, and there is way better carbonation than the short head indicates, really lively and then dry real fast at the end. very cool beer, a little something different from bull and bush, but i reckon its a really well executed example of a style that so many are missing on right now. yum!

Light gold color. Modest white head that dissipates quickly. Not very bubbly.
Sweet fruit and citrus, slight grassy hops. Faint.
Apple, peach, grapefruit. Hint of hops.
Light-bodied, not much there.
