To some, American hops with a Belgian tripel is a golden marraige. To others, it's 50 years of marriage. As I'm yet to be married, I'll lean towards the former. On-tap at the source, on to the beer:
Hazy golden colored, similar to the saison had earlier. Good head thickness and retention further enhance the look of the beer. The nose brings some raw herbal hops and a little funk. But at first sip, I wondered where the hops were. Spicy rye and a touh of gum lead the way and are saison-like, but finally in the 2nd half of the sip the hops kick in and take the beer by its horns. It's medium heavy, but drinks and feels lighter than its ABV, which is buried well. Overall, it's a very good one, and probably my favorite of the day at Bull & Bush.

pours a hazy greenish yellow springtime color with a big bright white head. smells flowery and like wild yeast. more of a saison in smell than an ipa. flavor is where the hops come in, crisp and clean, slightly bitter hops up front, with fruity yeast in the finish. almost has a white grape flavor in there at the end. the alcohol is very well concealed, and this one can sneak up on you. i really liked the medium body, and effervescent carbonation in the feel here. this is one of the better bull and bush beers in my opinion, and i hope it sticks around awhile. not quite a belgian ipa in my book, but it leans in that direction. nice beer.

A marriage of Belgian and American IPA for this one.
Nice golden color, clean. Pillowy white head, some large bubbles, some small ones. Good lacing. Looks great.
This is a nice IPA with a Belgian spice to it. At first I thought the spices would take over, but provide that crispness towards the end that gives it a snappy finish. The hops are citrusy and give the beer a middle dryness that interrupts the sweetness of the biscuit malt and candied sugar....it seems.
Very easy drinking for the abv. It packs a wallop if you're not careful. Wish they can keep this one on in the summer
