On tap at the Bull and Bush; poured into a pint glass.
Appearance - jet black, no light coming in! Thin, mocha head that dissolves quickly. Lacing is decent.
Smell - sweet vanilla latte; literally smells like a Star Bucks.
Taste - I've never had an iced coffee, but I assume that this is what a vanilla iced coffee with a hint of booze would taste like.
Feel - creamy, but a bit too light.
Overall - easy drinking stout that works any time of year!

Served cold in a pint glass at the B&B pub.
Ice Cream clone is black in color and served with no head. I find most beers here are served that way. Good value?
Aroma is sweet and has a nice vanilla nose.
Flavor is really quite outstanding. This is vanilla as in the bean, not some oak-aged barrel beer. Sweet and creamy smooth. A little roast to balance it but almost no hops that I can taste or smell. This is a true dessert beer. It's no surprise that they offer an ice cream float version with a scoop of vanilla.
Mouthfeel is medium bodied and balanced towards the sweet.
Overall a really enjoyable sweet stout.

new one at bull and bush. described to me as a scoop of vanilla ice cream, and i dont totally disagree after drinking 3 pints of it last night. pours a dark coffee color with a very minimal head, tan in color. smells amazing, like fresh vanilla beans, not extract, not artificial, just fresh french vanilla. literally melted ice cream. it combines with dark roasty malts and a slight coffee hit that is just sensational. flavor too is vanilla in a good way. not a sweet stout as i know milk stouts to be, so i didnt classify it as one. still had a creamy element to the flavor and thinner feel you get from those. the malt and the vanilla work so well together. feel could stand a bit more carbonation as it was a touch flat, but the body is perfectly full and the finish is great. very very drinkable for a big stout. go get this one while you can, as it is entirely unique.
edit: this seems to me to have gotten sweeter in later batches, almost too desserty now to drink more than one or two, or maybe my tastes have just changed. seem to have sorted out the carbonation issues too though. a really distinct beer, fits its name well!
