If this is the spring seasonal that I think it is, I'm going to look for it again next year. Really enjoyed this one. I got this in March or April, I want to say, and it was a great new find for me.

not usually a lager guy, but this one was impressive. freshly tapped at bull and bush, it pours a clear pale copper color, looking a little dull in the light, but with a lasting inch of white head. the smell right away tells me english malts, sweeter caramely coffee cake bready notes intermix with the spalt hops used for bittering. the flavor is as hoppy as it is malty, this is a really full flavored lager. amazing well balanced, the malt kind of his the front end, while the hops round out the tail end. slightly bitter in the finish, but really crisp and refreshing. i love the mothfeel. this is a fuller bodied lager, smooth in texture but still boasting fine carbonation. a very elegant yet sturdy brew, as good or better than any european style lager ive had really. down easy, big enough to stand up to chicken wings, just an instant classic from bull and bush.
