nice new brew on at bull and bush. this one pours a mostly clear golden color, radiant, with a finger or two of white head that leaves broad lacing. the nose is similarly yeasty to some other bull and bush brews, including the suitcase saison and the marriage golden. the alcohol is there with a little sting of the nostrils, and a pleasant grassy aroma gives it a springtime feel. the flavor is good, very light and yeast driven, with some gentle spice and a touch of honey sweetness. the thing I like best about it is its feel. its crisp and clean like a lager. none of its boldest features last very long, and the alcohol is very well disguised. if you didn't know how strong this was before consuming it, you could get pretty mangled off 3 or 4 glasses without a doubt. I like that bull and bush continues to push the envelope with some of their newer beers. all the awards they've won would be reason enough for most brewers to settle down the experimentation and focus on the core brands, but I admire these guys for continuing to try new recipes and see what works. snarky devil is a testament to that.
