A pint can emptied into a clear glass Imperial pint mug didn't fit. There was a ridiculous amount of starchy white foam on top, despite a deliberate pour at room temperature. The head that prevented a clean pour, now recedes irregularly and unattractively. The color is a murky blond-amber and with an opaque character that might have been intriguing a few years ago. It smells like a rag left unattended for a few days. Not just dank, but badly dank. The taste isn't much better. There's no malt body, nor taste contribution. Whatever hops are there are obviously polluted by the lactose. Oates and maybe wheat in mild doses, are acceptable ways of hazing IPAs. This is a great argument against lactose being another agent.

Pours hazy yellow with a thin white head. Aroma is fruity and hoppy. Taste follows with a mix of hop bitterness and citrus fruits. Feel is good, nice and smooth with thick mouthfeel. Overall it's a decent hazy IPA.

Looks like the puke one would spew off the side of a boat in rough seas, after drinking too many rum and pineapples, on an empty stomach. The rocky white head fades almost instantly and then your glass looks like it needs a few ice cubes, a straw and a tiny paper umbrella. The smell is tropical, with pineapple and lime notes, but yet, not as enticing as It sounds, as there’s something else there that doesn’t seem to mesh well. The taste seems to follow the smell, but now I can recognize a big resiny hop presence that dominates all else. As for the taste, the balance seems way off for the NEIPA style, but maybe this one just sat In my fridge for too long. A smooth, medium-full mouthfeel leads to a lingering resiny hop finish that even the high abv and the addition of lactose cannot suppress. This would probably pair well with atomic-hot wings, after your taste buds are already fried.

I like this NEIPA but its a little sweet without being very fruity and also a bit hoppy/bitter to be classified as a top tier NEIPA. Despite this, its enjoyable to drink and the mouthfeel is incredibly on point for the style -- its so silky, velvety and smooth. If there were some fruit additions to this beer in the nose and taste I would rate it in the upper-echelon of NEIPAs but the overly sweet flavors do not mix well with a very hoppy and bitter backbone.
All in all, especially for the price, this was a good buy and I'll enjoy drinking the rest of the brews.

L :Hazy straw colored with surprisingly little head for an ipa.
S: Fresh citrousy hops.
T: Sweet malt backbone. Almost a lactose type sweetness. Nuce balanced bitterness. Clean but not too dry.
F: Velvety mouth feel.
O: Nice. In style but a little sweet for the style.

That's not how a schwa works.
This has an NEIPA-style pour: which is to say, it's hideous in a way that people have recently begun to accept.
The aroma is very sweet but not cloying: apricot juice, very little bitterness. It's a bit one-note but that note is struck soundly.
The flavor is even sweeter and fruitier but, remarkably, it still doesn't fall into treacly too-much-ness. Apricots and strawberries dominate throughout, accentuated nicely by the thick body.
This is well done for what it is. I kind of miss beer that tasted like beer, but I guess I'm just a curmudgeon.

A solid beer true to style. Enjoyable, but not anything that stands out in the crowd of NEIPAs.
