I liked it. When I am back in York, I will most likely have this during the night at the brewery.

This was poured into a nonic pint glass. The appearance was a hazy burnt orange to amber color with a one finger white foamy head that dissipated leaving speckled sticky foamy lacing around the glass. The smell had a huge fresh citrus sweet hoppiness running over some light freshly cut grass and a light underneath of sweet to semi-bitter pine. The taste had a full bittersweet citrus to light underneath of sweet caramel malts. A semi-lingering bittersweet citrus/caramel aftertaste leads to a semi-dry bittersweet finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a nice sessionability about it. Carbonated nicely as an AIPA, still a nice bittersweet harshness hits my tongue nicely. Overall, I say this was a wonderful AIPA that I would love to have again.

-spiegelau ipa glass. Canned 07.18.16. consumed 10.18.16.

A: Dark bengal orange, good clarity, with a quick paced effervesce within. A two finger eggshell white head has soapy air pockets lining the walls with a towering center piece of foam pillage. Scattering soapy deposits of high coverage on the glass.

S: Aroma of lime, fruit and toasted barley. Light in strength and short in duration.

T: Flavor was lime and fruitiness, breakfast fruit, melon, against toasted bread. Bittering dry hopped citrus, flowery in nature closes things out with some grassy-pine sol alcohol notes. Floral hops, dry apple peel and warming lemon.

M: Sticky malt, syrupy medium body.

O: Good dose of initial fruitiness moves to a hoppy bitterness and toasted dry malting. Mid range drinker, flashes of complexity keeps things somewhat interesting.

Nice! Citrusy aroma that doesn't overwhelm, and a similar taste. Juicy and refreshing. A touch of pine - just enough so that you don't seem to be sucking on a pine cone. The brewery is new to me, and I would definitely try other offerings of theirs based on the quality of this one.

Canned 6/6/16
Pours a copper orange with a half finger of head that dissipates completely without leaving an lacing. Faint citrus and grain aroma. Taste mostly piney. Very smooth.

A - A finger's worth of active lush light-to-medium colored khaki froth comprised of medium sized chunky bubbles... Solid retention... Turns a bit creamier as it settles and leaves a full veil of lacing and moderate collar... The color is a slightly pale muted copper... Largely still with just a light bit of moderate paced carbonation throughout...

S - An intoxicating hop forward aroma... Starts with a kiss of sweet citrus and tropical fruit... This is backed up by a sturdy mix of earthy and piney hops... The plethora of hops sits a top a rock solid malt base highlighted by cracker, biscuit and some light caramel sweetness... Text book for the style and extremely well executed...

T - Hop forward... The the piney resinous earthy hops take the lead... Next comes the malt base which is dialed up in intensity a bit... Loads of biscuit and caramel... The light sweet citrus components linger a bit beneath the surface and add an extra layer of depth and complexity... Excellent balance... Again, an excellent representation of the style...

M - Medium bodied... Sleek... Sturdy... Light to moderate carbonation... Crisp... Even and consistent... Goes down easily sip after sip...

D - This is my initial introduction to Liquid Hero, a local brewery which I haven't had the opportunity to experience until now... I'm very impressed with the overall craftsmanship... I'm most impressed by the depth and array of hops present on both the aroma and on the palate... Solidly above average in all facets... Nothing world class or remarkable, just really really good... Rather quaffable and refreshing... Overall, color me impressed... I'm eager to try more of Liquid Hero has to offer...

Look - clear copper....thing white head...ok circle lacing throughout

Aroma - grapefruit, light pine

Taste - heavy pine hop, grapefruit on the back of the tinge

Feel - medium body and carbonation...dry and crisp

Overall - pretty good for my hometown...I compare this favorably to the Pine Drop...with a little more drinkability
