First had: on tap at Liquid Hero
Dark brown-black pour with a foamy off-white head. Somewhat muted aroma of pine hops and roasty dark malts. Taste was similar, piney hops, roasty malts, woody and bitter, not quite as balanced as other beers of the style. Body was light-medium. Not too bad, but a bit lacking in flavor and too unbalanced.
