On draft at the brewery. Out of season, but thought I'd try it. Reddish brown, almost opaque, with a thin tan head. Definitely a winter warmer, malt-forward with some hops for bittering, good but not great

On draft at The Lark, East Northport, NY.
Poured a deep brown hue with a one finger foamy off white head. There was decent retention and lacing.
The smell featured grainy malts, charcoal and a bit of coffee.
The taste offered roasted malts and charcoal with a lingering dry bitterness.
The mouthfeel was full with a dry finish.
Overall a tasty roasted treat.
