February 2002: A fridge full of this traditional pilsener (brewed for a brewery jubilee, I believe) awaited us when we arrived in our house swap apartment in Nice, France, in the summer of the year 2000. (The proprietor was a doctor from Luxembourg.) At the time I thought this was the best thirst quencher I've ever had - at least it was a decent and well made pilsener, great in the summer heat. Can you expect more of a pilsener?
