Copper color with a thin head that vanishes fast.
Strong aroma with notes of Mezcal, spices, toasted malts and chocolate.
Flavor with notes of chocolate, mild Mezcal, some red fruits, toasted malts, orange and apple juice and wood. Dry aftertaste with a medium bitterness.
Light to medium body with appropriate carbonation.
Nice brew; the Mezcal wasn't overdone, thus not shadowing its Irish Red ale nuances. I had tasted grasshoppers before, but not sure I was able to capture it.
