im almost certain this is the ipa i had in here, their menu just said rusty truck ipa, i am assuming this one sort of functions as their house ipa, i could be wrong, but i dont think so. its flavorful beer in the sense that i can taste all the elements in it, but its really almost overbalanced, and drinks more like a bitter pale ale to me, with a pretty robust grain complexion and more bitterness than flavor from the hops through most of it, not a bad beer, not at all, but certainly nothing that sets it apart from the crowd. slightly richer orange look to it, some crystal malt evident, more clear that the other two we had in here, but still not all the way clear, although definitely not intentionally a hazy. it smells like northwestern hops, a bit of pine, higher alpha varietals, good bitterness, not overly green or anything, and relatively fresh to me. some biscuity sweetness from the grain, and a little almost english thing to the yeast, not sure its fully intentional, but i do not mind this having some fermentation character, an old school vibe overall to this, and thats true in the flavor as well. the hops are mostly just bitter, a hint of grapefruit in the mix, but i keep waiting for something a little more on each sip and it never really comes. some light copper minerality to this as it warms, a medium body and fine carbonation, some light lingering bitterness. nothing special, maybe lacking a bit of an identity...

a couple of pints at the brewpub/restaurant..$4.00 a piece.
Slightly cloudy orange beer with a good sized frothy cream head.
Nice dank deep hop aromas.
Taste is quite bitter but a bit malty..PNW style.
Very nice mouth feel easy to drink stuff.
A reasonable PNW IPA..OK

I had this on tap at the Salishan lodge this past weekend.
A - Served a light orange with a smaller light tan head that fades pretty quickly.
S - I didn't get much smell at all. I waited a bit for it to warm, but it was still pretty mild. Some light citrus and bready malt did finally come out.
T - Very mild again. Similar to the nose. Some light orange citrus and bready malts.
D - Good carbonation and a light body. Not bitter at all.
O - A very mild IPA. Who knows how long it had been on tap. I did kick the keg, so perhaps it was a bit older than it should have been.
