Pint enjoyed on tap at the Ramuri hotel/restaurant in downtown Cabo San Lucas. A light copper-red color with minimal white head, just a thin coating around the sides of the glass. Classic "grain, fruit, and nut" aroma. Tasty mid-range toasted malts evoke granola while some grape and apricot notes provide seasoning. Sturdy mid-range body with similarly middling carbonation. Malt flavors are scrubbed clean during the dry, grassy, sour fruit finish. Just starts to veer into sweet territory before suddenly cutting short in favor of a mellow toasted and floral impression. Really traditional old school Vienna that trounces the macro-brewed examples one can find at the supermarkets here. I could have enjoyed a couple more had there not been a few other taps to sample.
