This hazy deep gold milkshake style IPA has aromas of strawberries and citrus with light floral notes. It tastes of strawberries and cream without being too cloyingly sweet. This brew finishes nicely with hints of vanilla and coconut. The addition of lactose balances the dryness of the fruit, gives a creamy mouthfeel, and adds a low level of sweetness allowing the strawberries and hop flavors to shine through. The perfect combination of strawberries, lactose, and mosaic hops makes this IPA reminiscent of a delicious strawberry milkshake.

12 oz can with a 4/23/2021 canning date level.
Appearance. Pours with a cloudy tan colored body with a load of suspended solids. It was topped by a tall, foamy beige head that slowly receded, leaving lots of tan sediment stuck to the glass. I watched the head recede about half way while I decided whether or not to try this bizarre looking IPA.
Eventually some strawberry notes in the aroma that were not accompanied by signs of contamination convinced me to give it a try.
The flavor is actually good, although harmed by an overly bitter aftertaste.
Feel. Smooth, full body with, surprisingly, no tactile evidence of the visible skills that I presume are strawberry puree.
