Burton Ale is another rotating offering at Taps. It poured a clear deep amber color with a moderate white head.
Really not much smell. Vague fruity aroma and caramel toffee.
Taste is of caramel malt and citrus fruit. Lingering hoppy finish. Balanced well but not real tasteful. Mild throughout.
Medium bodied, smooth.
This has decent drinkability but isn't one I'd be real quick to go back to. The smell and taste are just a little too mild and it seems to be missing a bit. I'd rather have the hefe or imperial stout.
