trying not to allow the pursuit of this to affect my feelings but this smells great. like a really good Eclipse. thin-ner more than thicker and very easy to drink. i was worried the time sitting in the bottle and how the person stored it (who sold it to me) may not be so beneficial but it's very good. can taste the age on it and i believe fresh is best in almost all scenarios save for the ones which have a lot of heat and can use a few months to settle. but this is good. i dont believe the Pappy barrels had much more to do with the flavor than another wheated bourbon might although there is a difference in the bourbon itself. still good, but definitely drink fresh!

 

 

 

 

Not bad as far as infected beers go, I've had worse. But definitely not what it's advertising. A better version of Shart of Darkness. Still get the marshmallow and dark fruit, thought at this point it's more like sour cherry.
