The pour is amber in color with a white head. Really nice fruit aroma to this. Watermelon, mild oak, plenty of grape aromas, wine, and a light tartness. The flavor is lightly sweet with some toffee and bready malt. A hint of red wine vinegar, light citric quality, oak, and plenty of melon fruitiness. Just a touch of dryness on the finish, lots of red wine, too.

Snifter. Thanks for sharing! This is a Sangiovese barrel aged Biere de Garde.
A: Dark orange with a mountainous white head.
S: Floral notes blend with rich caramel and pronounced wine notes. Tannic with apple, grape, and pear. Aroma is bursting with vinous characteristics. Toasted malt is evident.
T: Caramel, biscuit, and bread. Pronounced vinous characteristics with plum, grape, light chocolate. Grainy malt with oak. The finish is clean.
M: Upper light in body with upper medium carbonation.
Overall: A very good Biere de Garde. Recommended.
