Pours a copper brown with a one finger bone white fizzy head
Smells of a nutty slightly bready rye toast. There a malty sweetness mixed with that citrus zesty slightly hop note.
Tastes of a zesty citric peppery spice and a nice nutty malty backbone. Sort of an almond vanilla note coming through. Light and pleasant, a little thin but good for a hot day. Overall it has a hint of hop bitterness and that nice rye spice. Pleasant but perhaps a little too light on the tongue. I wouldn't mind trying this again.

On tap at TAPS Fish House & Brewery in Corona, CA.
Pours a clear light orange with a foamy white head that settles to a partial film on top of the beer. Foamy streaks of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of malt, rye, citrus fruit, and citrus zest aromas. Taste is much the same with rye and citrus flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of hop bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp and medium bodied mouthfeel. Overall, this is a pretty good beer with a solid rye presence in the aroma and flavor.
