The decor is very Pinterest-y, which is to say DIY and rustic (in a cool way). I noticed that there was a large stage for live music while I was there. There is a large selection of eclectic beers on tap, which I enjoyed very much. There aren't too many places where you can buy seasonal herbal beers, but this is one, and it is the one that does it best out of those I have encountered. The most memorable beers I had while there were the dandelion pumpkin beer (tastes better than it sounds) and the cucumber ale. I was disappointed that there wasn't a nettle beer on tap, but that just means I'll have to come back in the spring!

Original location was literally a shack in a field. New location on Front St. is vastly improved.
Nice little spot to grab a beer and food. Unfortunately, the beers aren't that good and the service is very slow. Good variety on tap.

Point of interest; Slippery Pig is no longer at the Finn Hill Road adress, but is instead located at 18801 Front Street. It's on the main drag of downtown Poulsbo and they've been hosting events and even started serving food recently. I miss the farm, but Dave is doing a great job.

The place is all outdoors, with a pole barn covering the seating area that holds some picnic tables and standup propane heaters. The "walls" are tarps, but they do a decent job blocking the wind.
The quality of the beer is great. All kinds of crazy additions from local, fresh ingredients, including dandelions, rhubarb, stinging nettles, smoked pumpkin, and douglas fir. My personal favorite is the Hog Thai'd: smoked pumpkin, coconut, and curry fermented with a belgian yeast.
Service is excellent, but as the other reviewer said you're most likely to get served if you go up to the bar (as most bars are).
The selection is pretty solid, they have about 8 beers now, with a new one out every month or so.
They usually have some complementary chips and salsa for you to snack on, or you can buy some smoked salmon, smoked cheese, or smoked nuts (also local).
$5/pint, unless the beer is >10%abv, then it's a 10oz pour. Good prices considering they don't have a beer <6%.
Overall I love this place. Great atmosphere with friendly people. A bit chilly on those windy rainy days, but you're going to someone's farm to drink beer that they made with ingredients from their garden. It's an adventure and absolutely worth it.

A: Don't let the winding gravel driveway deter you. It is much like Skookum Brewing for tose who have been. A rainy, cold Friday afternoon at 4PMish. An outdoor area with a shed serving up about five beers. I had the Rhubarb IPA. Seating was a small covered picnic table. The rest of the seating was uncovered but they were working on this. Staff was somewhat friendly. They seemed to have the locals because they hung out at the bar while we froze our keesters off with no one to venture over and say hello. Maybe they did not appreciate newcomers who stood in freezing temps, rain to try their beer.
Q: My Rhubarb IPA was poor. I did not try anything else.
S: As I mentioned earlier, they were did their job with a smile but nothing beyond that.
S: ABout 5 beers. I did not check out the rest of the handles because I knew I wanted the Rhubarb
Cash only with $5 pints
