Bottle from Rosauer's. Near black pour with layer of foamy beige head. Aroma brings chocolate first, roast grains, burnt toast. Taste gets unexpectedly sweet, dark chocolate, then some coffee style bitterness. tastes good, body could use some heft.

I found this to be very, very smooth for a non-nitro offering. Has all the usual hallmarks of a classic stout: color, aroma, body. It finishes with out that usual bitter coffee/malt taste though. It just sits and mellows.
