Crowler from Growler Guys-Kennewick. Dark brown body, small ring of head, nothing exciting to look at. Roasty aroma, some molasses. Taste is roasty too, soft bitterness, hints of sweetness, a nice velvety feel too. Not exceptional, but decent.

Beer was on tap. Looked great, nice color. A real workingmans porter. Mouth feel was a little light but it didn’t detract. Head was creamy and Taste was rich. Best porter I’ve had in a long time. I need to go back to my home brewing kettle and try again.

From the brewery tap room. Pours a thin head on a light brown body.
The aroma is subtle roasted malt and coffee..
The taste has a significant bitterness throughout with some roasted malt worked in.
The texture is crisp with moderate carbonation.
A fine beer but a little too much bitterness in a porter for me.

On tap at The Swamp. Served in a pint glass.
Appearance is a black opaque brew, with a thin off-white head
Smell is a fairly strong coffee scent.
Coffee flavors dominate the taste. Bit of a roasted grain chrcoal flavor with a mild bitter finish.
Mouthfeel is medium-light and in keeping with the style. Medium bitter cofffee aftertaste
A good solid porter.
