L - Motor oil pour, no head
S - Big complexity, kind of old style and I like it. Big roasty presence, maple, very rounded with oat. Some rum like booziness, some floral notes, some citrus notes, chocolate, espresso, grain, red berries, fig
T - follow the taste with a big emphasis on the maple which makes it quite sweet actually, very nice earthy and green bitterness. Some peppercorn, some oat and grain. Citrus, mostly tangerine
M- very low carbonation but veeeryyyy thick
O - This is a great maple imperial stout! Drinkable as hell, it'll hit me hard later. This quite hoppy which quite enjoyable. This is a bold, but balanced brew. I think it will age very nicely, too bad I drunk my only bottle. I'd like to see this after a few months in bourbon or cognac barrels too. Great stuff!

330 ml bottle (13.4% on bottle), Southville Deli, Bristol - Pours jet black with no discernible head. Low carbonation. Aroma - Sweet, caramel / maple overtones, roasted malts, oaty feel. Taste - Sweet, maple, burnt dark sugar/caramel, roasted malts, dark stoned fruits at the back, long bitter finish with nice not overwhelming alcoholic warmth. Nice high ABV sipper.
