Palate Contaminants: none
The color is a nice amber, shading toward a darker orange. Still translucent. Lots of very fine head, and it leaves a lacing that sustains for a little while.
The smell is a little marmalade, and a little metallic. Maybe a little bit of fig in there, as well
Taste has lots are barley right up front. Mild-moderate level of bitterness. I'd liken it to a good bitter bread. Not a whole lot of fruit flavor as this one mostly showcases the grain. Tea-ish, but freshly brewed tea.
Aftertaste lines up with the taste. The carbonation is very well integrated, although the weight is light-medium.
