On cask at the Wenlock Arms, London.
Ruddy leather dark brown with slight film. Raisin, mulch and nutmeg nose.
Autumn leaf malts, a hint of cranberry, cocoa middle and barky hops.
Nutty finish and a dry linger. Soft, crisp and light.
Light even for a mild. Supposed US and NZ hops in there somewhere, but I'm not sure I see that. Still, good balance of fruit and bark, and at this strength, why not?
