From their site "is an easy drinking, tawny best bitter. The colour and malty taste come from the crystal and cara malts added to the mash. We then use all English hops in the copper - Challenger for bitterness, followed by a huge amount of Fuggles & East Kent Goldings for flavour and aroma."
Poured from a 500ml bottle into a dimpled pint mug.
Pours a light brown colour, very drinkable looking, with a half decent head.
Smells nicely balanced, looking good so far.
Taste reflects the scent, very well balanced and moreish. Fruity hops up front with caramel malts coming in to balance it out.
A good bitter, i'd definitely drink it again.
