I had this on tapat Moeder lambic served chilled in a cervoise.
The color is deep amber with an almost brown shade and 2 fingers of thick beige cream with fine bead and streamers of lace stick. The smell is sligthly caramel with lots of hops up front with a woody and floral mix and fresh worty aroma with esters of malt and yeast. The feel is dry and bitter with medium malty base with mild sweet and toasted grainy texture along with light acidity of hops and bitterness level balancing in the finish which is moderately dry.
The flavor is interesting with fresh grainy and hoppy raw flavor with slight tangy yeast and natrual flavor of hops with that raw straight from the kettle herbal mix with light caramel in the malt backing with slight toasted grain element and gentle alcohol with a dry but not quite medicinal finish which has a light tropical aspect. Overall this is a good ale, pretty interesting how it can taste like fresh wort with a lot of woody and herbal hop flavors. The waiter told me he helped brew this at the brewery which is pretty small based on what I saw online. The mmild grapefruit notes and bitter rind come through according to the waiter it was hopped with Chinook, Centennial and Nelson.
