2016 millésime. Wouldn't call this almost hop-forward 7.5% ale a tripel but it's a quite nice beverage.
It's quite balance with caramel, chewy and spicy malts on one hand and earthy, coconuty and fruity hops on the other hand. Almost candied fruit presence. A hint of diacetyl presence, almost tannin taste. Astringent mouthfeel, nice carbonation.

Never would have guessed this was a tripel. Very herbal with some aged hip character. Interesting. Glad I tried it, but probably wouldn't go back to it.
