Collaboration between la Brasserie de la Pleine Lune and Biérocratie, a Parisian beer shop. A rye DIPA hopped with Nelson Sauvin, Equinox and Amarillo aged on Sherry wine oak barrel chips and in Côte Rôtie barrels. And wow that's a great beer.
L - Amber colour with a two finger white head
S - Fruity, caramel, brioche dough
T - A mix of fruity (gooseberry, orange) , floral and bitter hops, caramel, a bit of oak and what I suppose is sherry (I've never tasted it). A long lasting taste
F - Fine carbonation that compliments the taste
O - A beer for beer lover. It's an experience. A perfect balanced beer. It's labelled as a DIPA, it's not far from a barleywine, but it's neither, it's a Sherry Ale Killer!
Second tasting one year and half later on 05/13/18. Less exciting with a minor hop presence. The sherry notes are still nice though
