This version is aged for 16 months in Côte Rôtie barrels, this barley wine is perfectly still.
Amber with no head
The vinous notes are nice as well as for the caramel notes. The oak is strong and shows some wet woods notes. Have this beer stayed in the barrel for too long.
The mouthfeel is quite thin, it lacks a lot of body
Very interesting but would gain from a higher density and fewer time in the barrel
