Medal winning brew on the first batch.
The second batch follows with a dark ruby body and nice dense mocha head.
The nose is on the cocoa, the coconut, the tropical fruits.
The taste follows with caramelized bread crust, cocoa, herbal/resinous bitterness. A bit of citrus, apricot, cedar.
The whole thing remains balanced at all time.
The mouthfeel is semi-dry with a low carbonation.
This dark side IPA brings an English style of drinkability. You just want to go at it by the pint but keeps a certain complexity and a certain bitterness with the whole american Sabro hop. This glorious hop brings all its complexity to the table.
Nice
