Reviewed from notes. This was poured into a tulip. The appearance was a golden pale copper color with a crisp finger’s worth of white foamy head that dissipated at a nice pace. A light lace rolled about. The aroma had some bready to toasty malts flowing into a slight Belgian array of spices and candied fruits. Light cereal and then a subtle herbal to almost hay-like feature coming about subtly. The flavor leans towards a malty sweet Belgian sort of taste. Some banana and alcohol seems to touch in this department with a gentle flow from the taste on into the aftertaste and riding on into the finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fair sessionability about it. ABV felt just as projected by the brewer. Overall, nicely done Belgian strong ale, I think I could come back to.
