Thanks Tim. This was poured into a nonic pint glass. The appearance was a burnt orange almost copper color with a finger’s worth of white foamy head that dissipated at a decent pace. Subtle lace. The aroma had some pumpkin sweetness up front with a touch of some spice (allspice/ginger, somewhat). Touch of caramel/toffee malt in the backbone. The flavor seems to stick to the pumpkin sweetness initially. Pumpkin spices come in after a bit of warming. Malts to pumpkin sweetness hit the aftertaste and finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fair sessionability about it. ABV felt appropriate. Fairly smooth for a pumpkin ale. Overall, good for what it is, perhaps again if I lived in the Soo or was there in the Autumn.
