I'm trying this beer at the brewery. It poured a clear golden with white head that is leaving a nice lace. The scent was subtle grain notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with clean malt base and a slight crisp hop finish. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall its a good beer.

Had this on-tap at the brewery in Sault Ste. Marie, MI.

This beer pours a slightly hazy golden amber color. There are almost two fingers of white head resting on top. The head has good retention, and it leaves a nice sheet of sticky lace behind on the glass. The nose has a nice bit of lightly toasted malt and some fruitiness to it. There is a mild hop presence coming through as well. The taste follows the nose pretty well. It starts off with some lightly toasted malt and some yeasty esters. There is a nice earthiness and mild hop presence. The finish leaves some lingering earthiness and mild hop flavor behind on the palate. This has a medium body and good carbonation. It goes down quite easily and that a smooth refreshing quality to it. There is a bit of sweetness and a good amount of earthiness. There is some mild hop bitterness as well. The feel is very nicely balanced. This has good drinkability. It is a refreshing easy going beer, and I think it is a good representation of the style. I could easily sit back and have a few pints of this on their comfy couches. This is much better then a lot of those watery bland versions of blonde ales that are out there. I recommend trying it out if you come across it. I would buy it again.
