Fresh air and water go hand in hand with this ale. We carefully balance ripe blackberries with a crisp malt body for just the right amount of succulent tartness and sweetness. This is the perfect brew for enjoying outdoors.

If you looked up the word "disappointment" in the dictionary, the picture next to it would be if this beer
Blackberry blonde ale, the idea sounds perfect on paper, a nice, tart, blackberry flavored ale, and maybe a different brewery could actually pull that off, but this just fell flat on its ass
The blackberry flavor was practically non-existent, and what little there was seemed artificial, and it was way too bitter for what it was supposed to be (yeah, I know I bitch about bitterness a lot, but this time I feel like it was actually justified, especially since it advertises itself with tart and zesty flavor profiles, which, again, were nowhere to be found)

A - Hazy medium blue blackberry berry pink color with blue/pink lacing and light carbonation.
S - Wheaty blackberry aroma.
T - Follows suit with the nose - solid blackberry presence with a solid wheat malt backbone. Finishes on the sweeter side with a lingering subtle blackberry.
M - Meaty medium body with very subtle carbonation on the palate.
O - Once again, another perfect warm weather quaffer and being we're at the ballpark in Lansing, MI, this is totally appropriate.

Well balanced beer. A nice crisp malt body with the right amount of succulent tartness and sweetness. Great for enjoying outside. Very nice nose, minor lacing and pours a tall head. Leaves behind fruit residue that adds to flavor. Very good.

Pours hazy purple with two fingers of pinkish white fizz, decent retention. Nose is blackberry, wheat, and some earthy hop. Taste follows suit, fairly basic flavor profile but okay nonetheless. Feel is soft and pillowy. Overall, slightly above average.
