The taste itself is alright. A bit more bitter than I would like, and I think that said bitterness is the only thing holding it back taste wise

It smells incredible, and I just wish that its taste matched its immaculate smell

16 oz can ($2.99) enjoyed in Michigan. A canning date of 20 June 2025 is stamped on the bottom of the can.

Appearance. The pale reddish-gold body made a fine looking pour but the ephemeral white head quickly and entirely disappeared.

This bold blonde has a pronounced cherry note in the aroma, with a more balanced mix of hops and cherries in the flavor. It seems slightly more bitter and hoppy than optimal. It is certainly a well crafted Cherry Blonde ale.

Way too small a sample size (only 2--are you kidding?!) to generate a meaningful rating, but this is way better than an "80" and receives much higher marks elsewhere. In any case, it's exactly what you should expect and similar in character to its sister brews. They're all refreshing summer beers with a nice, fruity nose and flavor, and don't pretend to be anything else. Not a "desert island" choice for me but an interesting change of pace. It won't replace Oberon or Weihenstephaner, but it's nice and at only 5% ABV, even a 16-oz can is far from excessive.
