A spicy Rye IPA that’s balanced with a generous amount of West Coast hops, giving this brew a strong, pleasant bitterness and raising it to Imperial status with an 8.1% ABV. Our devotion to our Rye Ale runs deep. After all, it was the second beer we ever brewed. But we couldn’t resist the temptation to make a bigger, more badass version and this spicy Rye IPA delivers. With heavy citrus aromas on thenose and a crisp, dry, warm finish on the mouth, it’s a complex, yet finely balanced big hoppy beer with an 8.1% ABV that we can’t get enough of. Looks like we committed some infidelity with our Rye Fidelity.

Thrilled to be 3rd review of this new rye IPA from a great Bronx brewer that starts with the great minerally Adirondack water of NYC.
a) Hazed amber-apricot body that lifts a small white head and laces dots.
s) Wow, perfume, spice, pungent rye with malt back.
t) Strong bitterness that's tempered with citrus, tropical fruit, grass, hemp, and big, large scale, complex flavor. More hemp and hash and smoke that most DIPAs. Good and complex finish. Worth a conversation.
f) You feel cider, juicy, peppery, and strong finish along with the 8.1% ABV. A crisp, dry, warm finish.
o) Nice when a brewer knows its expertise and amplifies it. A Rye great.

Pours light amber, fairly clear. Spicy rye and citrus aroma. Nice hoppy citrus flavor, a little spice from the rye. Good carbonation. Nice spicy rye lingering finish.

On tap at Pies & Pints: Pours a cloudy amber deep honey with a half finger of sticky head that settled to a cap with ample lacing. Strong rye malt aroma. Nice balance of rye sharpness and sweet malt.
