Poured from a 22 ounce bottle into an Ommegang tasting glass.
3.75/4/3.5/3/3.75
A: Slightly hazy, brief head.
S: Plain, piney hops with a hint of fruit. I'm surprised these are experimental hops, but if all the fruit is not the tangerine juice, then it's akin to something like Rakau.
T/M: Thin and bright and hugely citric. The tangerine juice is almost overpowering. For the ABV, I wish it were meatier. Hops are slightly earthy on the finish. Some pretty hefty bitterness.
O: Worth a try for citrus fruit fanatics. There are better citrus IPAs out there, but this one packs a worthy punch. Would buy again...maybe.

Notes
Malts: Briess 2 Row Brewers, Briess Aromatic
Hops: Palisade, Hopsteiner, 07270, Mandarina Bavaria

The bottle says it's brewed with tangerines and an experimental hop
A bright, hazy, golden orange. Quality head that fades quickly. Not much lacing.
Nose has lots of tropical aromas. Pineapple and mango. Citrus is a happy partner. Caramel malt sweetness anchors thehops. Light vanilla and a hint of steel.
Taste follows the nose. Tropical front with a sweet malt backbone. Caramel and dinner rolls. Then bam. Citrusy hops than a dry earthiness. A light vanilla. Then a steely mineral flavor. Like rye but edgier.
Crisp medium body. Easy drinking.
A nice brew with some rough edges
