Hazy yellow with basically no head. The aroma of pickled cucumbers and herbs was not what I expected. Slightly tart taste, close to cucumber brine. Not for me

Appeared hazy bright yellow with a white fluffy foam that dissipated quickly. The aroma was tart and acidic with just a subtle hint of basil. As it warmed up, cucumber became very noticeable with the tartness being at the forefront. The cucumbers stuck around after the finish. Like a fresh garden salad on a hot summer day. Not much basil though. The mouthfeel was light-bodied and extremely refreshing. A great beer! I looked at the label and saw it brewed with cucumbers and basil. My initial thought was it would go well with a berliner weiss and The Bronx Brewery proved it to be correct. The kind of beer I would want to drink on a hot summer day.

12 oz can, w/o canning/freshness dating info
Light straw, hazed, eggshell, mini head, leaves a nice looking film, and some decent looking low stickage.
lemony nose, with some basil in the background (full discosure, never would pick up the basil, if it was not mentioned on the label)
Bright and flavorful brew with lemons, brine, yes again basil....just a hint of tart, mostly fruity and delicious...easy drinking and well worth a try.

Poured from a can. Label says Berliner Weisse with basil & cucumber.
Looks a slightly murky gold with some white foamy head that disappeared right away.
Smells interesting, lemony and herbal hops or basil, toasted wheat, a little funky yeast.
Taste is great, a lot going on. First you get the tart, lemon juice flavor and then it fades and melds with a fresh herbal and flavor that is distinctly cucumber, but subtle enough and well balanced. A little brine that goes well with the cucumber, almost pickle like (but not vinegar-y).
Feels good. Smooth body with sharp carbonation and bright tart sourness. A light sour aftertaste is complemented by the freshness of the basil and cucumber.
Overall, an interesting idea and really well done. Excellent!

Look: Pours a hazy, opaque straw yellow, with a two finger off white head that instantly fizzles away and leaves no lacing.
Aroma: Tangy malted wheat, sea salt and mild honey.
Taste: Very interesting. Upfront you get notes of spicy pickled cucumber and slightly sour malted grains. There is a hint of salt and lemon in the background. It ends with notes of pickle brine, fresh cucumber, sea salt and toast.
Feel: Light, fizzy and thirst quenching. As a berliner weiss should be. Perfect for a hot day.
Overall: Brewed with Cucumber and Basil, this is a great take on the style. If you're a fan of berliner weissbier you will love this.
