Pretty nice brew. I got more of a pepper flavor than really any tropical fruit. It was not so hazy and not so juicy but honestly I don't mind that it doesn't fit the claimed style. You should try it if you see it.

L: Light yellow, puffy head and good lace. Can't see through this one.
S: Moderate fruit smell. Orange slight.
F: Creamy. Delayed aftertaste. Slight bitter.
T: Grapefruit is the most to this backed up. It's bitter but tempered. Peppery yet a little lemon candy sweet.
O: Gotta love how indie breweries are finding it cheaper to can and sell their beers, because the samplers I've had in the past few months are introducing me to some really tasty beers. I'd get this one again. It's a tasty IPA.

A: Poured from the can into a Piraat tulip/snifter-type pint glass. Body is hazy golden yellow with a small, foamy, white head, which leaves behind pretty good amount of lacing.

S: Good nose of citrus (grapefruit peel, lemon, lime), light malt, tropical fruit, and grass or pine.

T: No real malt presence, just juicy, hoppy flavors. Lots of citrus (grapefruit, some lemon) but even more tropical fruit (pineapple, mango). Good balance of juicy hops and bitter hops. Sweet . . . and bitter . . . and tasty.

M: Carbonation is fine but active. Good feel, with a creamy finish. Medium in heft, drinks lighter.

O: This is a solid NE IPA. Relatively light and easy to drink (esp. at 7% ABV).

Pours a crazy hazy golden straw color. Looks like grapefruit juice. Sporadic white head.

The aroma is big on grapefruit. There is some tangerine and lime. Perhaps a touch herbal. It’s a fresh and inviting aroma.

The taste is more mellow. Hops are more grassy with some pine notes. Some orange and grapefruit rind provide citrus notes.

The feel is moderate with fizzy carbonation. Slightly sweet malt is overcome by a dry grassy bitterness.

Tale of two IPAs. The aroma screams citrus bomb but flavor is more dry and bitter. Still well made.

L: Poured from a can to a pint glass. Had a golden yellow color and a thick and cloudy consistency. There was a quarter inch of foamy, somewhat long-lasting head. Pretty good lacing.

S: A very nice aroma of hops, citrus, malt, tropical fruit, and pine.

T: Tasted of a small amount of malt (mostly in the finish), light pine notes (not that noticeable), lots of hops, a ton of citrus (grapefruit, in particular), and a equally large amount of tropical fruit (mango). The flavor borders on being an all out hop bomb, but the fruit elements really do balance things out. Sweet and bitter, but tasty.

F: A well-carbonated beer with a juicy, creamy finish. Medium-bodied.

O: This is a well done NE IPA. Light and likable. Drinkable.

12 oz can, "Packed 4/3/18", comes in a four pack and readily available at my local Trader Joe's.

Typical and nice looking NEIPA kinda pour, fully hazed and leaving a great looking fine bubble film, collar and extensive sheets of lacing...nice looking brew.

Muted, but fruited up sniff.

Delicate and delicious on the lips, soft and smooth feel wise.

Tasty take on the style, lite tropical notes, a hint of smoke...well done and a very welcome addition to the BB line of offerings...go get some...

Pours a super cloudy pale straw color with a half finger of head. The nose is bright and citrusy. The flavor is plenty hoppy but like many NEIPAs, one dimensional.

Thrilled to be review #3. Weird like sediment laden, but extremely tasty. If you like this try SUMMER IPA.
a) Fruit kills heads and lace. Cloudy body with noticable white chunks of citrus rind and floaters.
s) Pleasing aromas of citrus and tropical fruit with scat, yeast and funk.
t) Big abundant citrus powerful flavors that resolve into piney, scatty hop bitter bomb.
f) Low carbonation, like juice, citrus puree, but pleasant despite the lump at the bottom of the glass.
o) I give it a 4 for original and will enjoy 3 in the mixed 12, but that's enough for me.

12 oz can. Pours hazy golden with tall, long lasting, fluffy white head and nice lacing. Aroma is of citrusy hops, bready malt and tropical fruit. Body is full and crisp. Citrusy hops, bready malt and tropical fruit fill the mouth. Finish is long and dry. Great brew.

A: The beer is hazy yellow in color. It poured with a minimal head, leaving only a few splashes of thin bubbles on the surface and a narrow collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Light aromas of tropical fruits are present in the nose along with some hints of funk.
T: The taste has flavors of citrus along with a light to moderate amount of bitterness.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer has a good balance between the malts and aromas/flavors of hops. It is a nice beer to sip.

12oz can into a snifter.

This one really surprised me, picked it up at trader Joe's. While it's a little thin, if I told you this was a NEIPA from LIC you'd believe me. Smell is of note, very good.
