Doesn’t a beer taste best after a hard day’s work? We sure think so. And that’s why nothing makes us happier than seeing guests fill our taproom after the whistle blows. This crisp, refreshing pilsner brings a little extra with hops that add subtle spicy and citrus flavors we think you deserve. Crack this one open. You’ve earned it.

Clear, golden color. Medium-sized, fizzy head. Grain, malt, and grass in the aroma. Balanced, mostly malty taste . Could’ve had some additional bitter crispiness.

Had a bit of a citrus flavor, a bit of lemon which I have never experienced in a German style Pilsner. Glad I tried it but probably wouldn’t order again.

Pours a slightly hazy straw color with a soapy white head.

Straight up lime notes on the aroma, not much else.

More of the lime in the flavor. A bit of an odd note from the malt. Hard to describe as the lime washes everything away.

The feel is light and fizzy. Slightly sweet.

Drinks like a Michelob Ultra with lime. No off flavors really but doesn't remind me of a Pils whatsoever.

A: The beer is slightly hazy pale light yellow in color and has a light amount of visible amount of carbonation. It poured with a short white head that quickly died down, leaving a narrow collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Light to moderate aromas of lemony citrus are present in the nose along with notes of pale malts.
T: The taste has flavors of pale malts and hints of lemony citrus.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied and a bit clean on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This lager is easy to drink and the aromas and flavors of citrus lends a bit of complexity.

Pint skiff at Andaz Wall St beer garden in NYC.
L: Pours hazy golden yellow with a one-finger head that quickly disappears.
S: Doesn’t smell of anything.
T&F: Clean & fresh lager with lemon & grapefruit flavours, light mouthfeel and low carbonation.
O: Is this a pilsner? Surely it has the wrong hops? It’s a hazy, citrusy, better than average, pale lager but not sufficiently crisp or steely to rate highly as a Pilsner. More like an easy-drinking lager/APA hybrid.

Pours a hazy yellow gold color with a small one finger white head that faded slowly and left good spotty lacing. Smells of sweet malt, toasted grains, lemon zest, faint caramel, floral hops and light peppery spices.

Canned in mid March. Still holds up. Very clean, crips, refreshing. More lemony notes than anything. Some malt sweetness, and a crisp finish. Well Earned, is Well done. This is a definite keeper that I'll buy again, and am fortunate to have access to living here in da Bronx. Is it my favorite pilsner? Being a pilsner "guy"... No. But it's quite good for the style, and I would rate it ahead of Prima Pils.

DATE: June 14, 2019... OCCASION: a good day of moving stuff out of the house needs a beer that considers itself a reward for hard work--let's see! GLASSWARE: Ommegang pokal... flourishes with a healthy dose of clustering bubbles that prevents a clear view through.... the body is light gold, while its head is a single finger of snow-white froth--a good looking offering...banana, Saaz, light pepper, sweet bread, and lilac accents--an aromatic introduction... this drinks smoothly, with some bite an crunch early, and a light, soft finish... light-bodied, refreshing and all-too-easy to evacuate--I wish I had a six-pack of these! The flavor profile is consistent with its aroma: fruity but not candied, drinkable but not without dimension, and a pilsner that stretches out a bit beyond the usual beer in its genre.... this is the best Bronx I have had, and one I will enjoy again...
