Pours a hazy orange color. A moderate sized frothy head displays decent retention.
The aroma is dank and fruity with notes of tropical and stone fruit. Aromas of mango, papaya, pineapple, peach, apricot and a hint of lime. Herbal notes of grass, pine and cannabis.
The taste is fruity and opens sweet but with a semi dry palate. A soft, round and creamy cracker malt base adds some firmness. It supports fruity hops flavors of peach, mango, papaya, peach and apricot. Moderate and smooth herbal spices of pine and grass pair up with a peppery and easy going bitterness.
Medium bodied with a smooth mouthfeel. The finish is dry. The carbonation is moderate to easy going.
Overall, a tasty and sessionable IPA. Unlike other sessions, it has some good malt firmness and good balance. I liked it a lot.
