Full-bodied and lush, this Milkshake IPA is big and bright with juicy bursts of citrus from orange peel, but finishes smooth and sweet thanks to additions of vanilla extract. Jarrylo and Bravo hops help to enhance the orange flavor and balance the sweetness.

Milkshake IPA that my wife brought me home a can of from the brewery. Pours a thick, opaque orange with a nice fluffy head.
Smells strongly of candied tangerine and grapefruit. Almost like cointreau.
Taste is indeed sweet and creamy. Big hit of sweet orange-y citrus up front, then a hit of vanilla cream in the middle, then the two combine in the finish plus some tartness and bitterness. Not much alcohol flavor.
The feel itself isn't that much more thick and creamy than a regular NE IPA. Maybe somewhat. The carbonation is nice though and keeps it from feeling too thick and sticky.
Super creamy milkshake IPAs aren't really my thing. This one's pretty drinkable though. I think most of the "milkshake" feel comes from the big hit of vanilla flavor. It's not an overly creamy mouthfeel. Pretty good for the style but I think I'd reach for a regular NE IPA over this one.
