Nice head. Soapy and rocky, it billows out of an aggressive pour and sits proudly. Fades a little quickly but there's a goodly amount of spots on the side of the glass. Liquid is nicely sticky. An orangey amber with yeast and haze.
Nose is honeyed and beady. Light spiciness of peppery cloves. Belgian yeast notes work faint banana and light funk into the mix. Earthy hops just lightly waft through.

Taste is solid and delicious. Nose pretty much tells the tale here. Sweet rolls and light toast spread with honey. Finish is mild earth and peppered cloves.

Feel is thickish. A bit of syrup with a very fine, gentle, carbonation.

Very good brew. Welcome anytime.

Tall can that tells me this beer is "Bready, slightly sweet with herbal and fruity notes"

Pours out with a medium haze, typical almond amber....delicate tiny bubble cap and leaves a bunch of super fine sheeting on the glass.

Earthy sniff with some cloves and bread/malt sweetness.

Tasty take on the style. A bit thicker mouthfeel then typical for the style, but this is flavorful, complex and quite enjoyable with the 9% covered nicely. Again, its earthy, with some clove, pepper and lime notes and malty goodness. Well crafted and well worth a try.
