16oz can. Date stamp on bottom is 'CANNED 12162024', about five months in the can.
Partly cloudy, deep amber colored body. Three fingers of off white head, which slowly recedes to a fluffy cap. Leaves behind a few scattered lacing spots.
Aroma of caramel, pine, grapefruit, and pineapple.
Taste is caramel malts, a quick burst of roast coffee, followed by fruit (grapefruit and pineapple) and pine needles. Aftertaste goes to pith, rind, and resin.
Medium mouthfeel, with a bit of stickiness. Moderate bitterness. Dry finish. Very good carbonation.
Sweet caramel blended with tart fruit and bitter pine resin.

16oz can.
L: Hazy, chestnut colour with a thin, off-white head that reduces to a ring. Very surprised to see this colouring in an APA.
S: Warm treacle.
T: Caramel and toffee up-front with spicy resin and dry citrus following.
F: Medium body with a chewy mouthfeel and an extra dry finish.
O: An unusual west coast-style IPA. Bitter and resinous but also smoky and malty. Like a cross between Sierra Nevada pale ale and Fuller’s ESB. Surprisingly well balanced.

Tall undated can. Pour surprisingly a bit darker then the typical APA. Medium haze level. Lifts a large, lasting and also a bit darker then expected cap. Slowly fades, leaving pleasing levels of all sorts of sticky lacing. and fine good looking sheeting...very nice looking brew, even if it really looks more like a hazed up amber ale.
Malty nice with some sweet caramel on the back end.
Caramel malt notes, balanced by pine and some pineapple again in the finish.
More of a malty amber in both looks and sniff...on the palate some bitter, resiny, pine infused hop notes are released. Pleasing brew...worth a try.
