S: slight coffee and roastiness. Background notes of plastic and burnt plastic.
L: black, not much head.
T: dark chocolate and burnt plastic off the bat. Some coffee roastiness in the finish. Semi sweet finish.
M: medium bodied, medium carbonation.
Not very impressive. Clear fermentation flaws, almost bad home brew like. Had it replaces with an allagash white.

Tap at brew pub
Huge head forces a long pour, big creamy head fades slowly with lacing, pitch black beer
nose has big roast, coffee, fresh coffee grinds, bit of oats, black patent malt, hint of earthy hops.
Taste starts bitter, lots of roasted malts, coffee and fresh coffee grinds, slight creamy oats, some black patent malt, light biter earthy hops but more bitterness from the roasted malts. an almost burnt or over roasted coffee grind flavor. Finishes dry and bitter, more coffee grinds and roasted malts.
Mouth is creamy and med bodied, decent carb.
Overall not bad, lots of coffee no real chocolate like I expected, light oats maybe more would have been a bit better, lots of roast and bitterness.
