Pours a pinkish purple with a finger of bubbly white head, receding into a ring leaving soapy lacing. Lots of streaming carb. Aroma is blueberry, sour, and wheat. Taste follows suit but with the addition of a salty undertone. Creamy feel. Not a bad beer but a one timer for me personally.

Aroma is sweet blueberry liquor and mild cough syrup. The flavor is blueberries, fruit, mild salt, malts/wheat and a medium tart/slightly sweet finish.

not a bad beer, but i didnt find the blueberry flavor to be very natural tasting in here. its like blueberry candy, or the blueberry syrup you can put in your pancakes at dennys. its a shame too, because its really potent and lingers long here, interrupting but not quite ruining a really pretty solid base gose. the lactic profile is clean enough here, its not too sour to drink a fair amount of, and the salt aspect is just right, briny but bright, full of flavor. the wheat base is very light, but this doesnt feel watery, and its quite well carbonated. i thought this about the mango version too, but if you took the fake and overdosed tasting fruit out of these, you would have a really nice gose on its own. to me the blueberry has a light metallic element and a lot of sweetness, and the level is high, its forced it seems, and it sort of cheapens the whole thing. i have a had a lot of excellent fruited goses now, and in my opinion, subtle fruit accenting the subtle flavors of the base beer is the way to go, and this one is way over the top. they couldnt have used real blueberries for this could they have?

Pours bright magenta with a bubblegum-pink head that disappears quickly and a subtle (not "fake" smelling) blueberry scent. Not overly tart, although surprisingly carbonated. Up front it could be regular Barn Phantom until the blueberry shyly comes out and lingers in the aftertaste. A good session pick for sour lovers.
