12 oz. bottle poured into a snifter.

A- Dark brown. Darker than expected. A ruby highlight shines through. Head is off white and foamy. Retains well with a little lacing.

S- Toasty, mild earth/floral hop. A slight hint of coffee.

T- Toast, and slight roast/coffee. Earthy hop.

M- Medium body. Some roast, but easy to drink.

O- This is too roasty to be an amber. It's more of a light porter.

Poured from an undated 12 oz. bottle: Poured a slightly hazy, deep reddish brown with ruby highlights.

Quite aromatic with spicy, syrupy malts with a hint of licorice.

The taste begins with a toasty, rye-like flavor with a very nice and subtle hop complement. While the malt is emphasized with a pleasant roastiness, the ale remains refreshing with a nice dash of hops and carbonation.

The ale has a solid, medium body with a slightly chewy mouthfeel with a sweet and clean aftertaste. It is perhaps a little overcarbonated.

This was a very flavorful and refreshing middle of the road amber ale. Balance is the key to this one. I look forward to trying other offerings from this brewery.

Poured 12 oz into ballast point pint glass.

Pours very murky and dark brown. Thin eggshell residue on top but no head to speak of. Smell is subtle notes. Some citrus hints. Sweet malts to, but still faint. Taste almost more of a brown ale. Sweeter caramel malts. Light bitter citrus hop flavor at the end. Flavor needs a little more. Lighter body low carbonation. Ok drink, nothing great. Would like to try it on draft to compare though.

A new brewery here, and even semi-local! Really pleased by this one, being an attractive amber, despite having limited carbonation and lace on the glass.

The flavor, though, is nicely rich -- definitely more flavorful than most amber ales. I get more brown ale notes -- a little roasty on the malts, a bit nutty, and a hint of hop sharpness at the finish, too. Well-done!

On tap at Tomlinson Tap Room, and a great first beer to have from Triton! Poured an excellent copper color with excellent head and good lacing. Wonderfully sweet malt and citrus hop aromas; very thick. Great flavors with a wonderful sweet malt back, nice caramel tones, and hints of candy sugars, along with a great citrus hop kick. Went down great. I hope they keep this up!
