Took this home as carry out from the brewery. Good stout!

From the 12 oz bottle via a friend from work---Thanks Justin!
This fine brew pours a deep obsidian with a nice tan head of
dissipating foam that settles to a thick ring, thin layer, and nice lacing.
Nose of smoke and char, chocolate, and subtle dark fruit. Flavors
lightly exceed the nose with a smoked malt and mild char atop a chocolate
and mild bittering hop note. Nice mouth feel, medium carbonation, coating,
and a nice lingering bitter malt finish. Nice.
Cheers

My wife bought a bottle of this home from a recent trip to Indiana and I'm very glad she did. This beer is black and opaque in terms of visibility with moderate carbonation seen around the very edges in the form of tiny bubbles rising moderately quickly. The head is a dark tan in color and frothy. It dissipates nice and slowly to a thin lacing on the surface. 4.25/5 The aroma features dark roasted malt, espresso, dark bakers chocolate, milk, and oats. There is a bit of an earthiness to the aroma along with a hint of vanilla that rounds everything out nicely. Very rich and deep, especially for a 5.5% abv beer. 4/5 The initial sip brings out vanilla and toffee on the tip of the tongue, providing a nice burst of sweetness and richness. This transitions, smoothly, to dark roasted malt and charred wheat bread along with a bit of oatmeal as an undertone. The middle of the flavor showcases cold brewed coffee and a slight dark chocolate note. Espresso bitterness comes out in the final third of the taste with this bitterness lingering for quite a bit after swallowing. 4/5 A moderate carbonation burn up front keeps this beer from becoming heavy. Medium bodied, which is a bit odd considering the flavors. The mouthfeel actually lightens as it passes the tongue from front to back. Moderate drying with a slight lingering dryness finishes off the feel. 3.5/5 Layered flavors and well balanced profile make for a very enjoyable experience. This would be even better if it would retain a full body rather than retreating to a medium body feel. The aroma alone is enough for me to buy this one. 4/5

Always willing to give a midwest brewery a shot and it was on sale so what the heck.
One of the few drain dumpers I have had. Actually smelled decent with that roasty stout/porter smell.
The taste , thin , flat and with a sour pickle ending . Tried to finish, could not. Nasty
