Raisin, raisin, raisin!! The taste is dominated by raisin. If you like an old wine/raisin beer this is real good. Looks weird. Shocked that this is 12.5%

Experienced on draft at the Triton Tap Room in Broad Ripple, 06/07/2013.
There's a bit of a plum-like tint to this Belgian Strong Ale when it pours into the glass.
Bourbon is very present on the nose, and at initial taste that bourbon note coincides with a light carbonation.
The mouthfeel is where I was a tad letdown, as it left me with too much of a bitter taste on first impression. Don't get me wrong - I like bitterness in some beers - but this is one I don't think mixed well with it.
Overall, though, this is a good brew that is helped in large part by the strength of its ABV. Glad to see Triton experimenting with heavy hitters.
